Your fake tan is minutes away

Want to look as hot as Gisele Bundchen or any of the other seemingly always bronzed Brazilian Victoria’s Secret models? Since most of us live in the real world, a trip to St. Barts every two weeks is out of the question (plus bad for your skin), so self-tanners are the next best thing.

IGiselebun_sgpi_12873547_400_2f you’ve been making trips to the salon every week and shelling out $50 a pop (plus tip) for a smooth airbrush tan, you probably cringe at the end of the month when you see that credit card bill. Now you can buy the same instrument the pros use. Fusion Beauty’s new GlowFusion AirGlow is the first and only at-home and fully rechargeable airbrush gun blows out a sheer, vapor-light, even mist in an all new, cocoa-infused GlowFusion Micro-Nutrient Tinted Protein Tan Mist that dries on contact. There’s no need to smooth, spread, or touch. But you mind need a friend or significant other to help you with those hard to reach spots. The AirGlow costs $175 at Ulta and Sephora (so basically three visits to the salon).Airglow_2

If you’d rather stick with the crèmes, you might try St. Tropez Whipped Bronze Mousse, which tans instantly and self-adjusts for a streakless tan that will last for days. And you can also use it on your face unlike many self-tanners. Available at Sephora, Saks Fifth Avenue and StTropezTan.com.

If you try any the above and you messed up, just use the self-tan remover by St. Tropez and no one will be the wiser.

For an added sunkissed look, dust cheeks with Tropic Tan Bronze/Shimmer Duo from Sugar Cosmetics.

I think that the Glow Fusion is an over-hyped and over-priced product.

There are so many fabulous self-tanners on the market, but we just need to find the one that is right for us. The sprayon ones are great, and a few good ones I recommend are ModelCo's Tan Airbrush in a Can and the Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Line's Solar Powered Professional Airbursh Self-Tanner.

It all depends on your perspective. If you go to the salon frequently to get airbrush tans or Mystic Tan, the Fusion AirBrush really isn't overpriced. I do get Mystic Tan and have gone to the salon to get a professional airbrush tan and believe me, the cost adds up! The only downside is finding a way to get those hard-to-reach places but the same goes for self-tanners. There are some good products out there and Tan Airbrush in a Can is pretty good. For the face I like Dior Bronze.
