Introducing The B List

Before you get the idea that this is a roundup of second-rate items, let me clarify. The “B” List stands for Belisi, so everything that makes the cut is above grade and in some way fabulous. Each week we’ll share some of our new-found (or time-tested) favorite fashion websites, designers, trends, books, blogs, you name it! As long as it’s in the name of fashion.

If you have a favorite that you’d like us to check out, don’t be shy! That’s the beauty of our online community; we can share our finds with everyone.

And now ... drum roll please ... the B List for the week of Sept. 1:

1.  StyleFeeder

What it is: StyleFeeder is a way to find, share, and keep track of shopping stuff you find online: a giant wishlist for the entire internet.

Why we love it: It’s a way to make shopping easier (i.e., more fun!). We’ve all done it: tried to comparison shop online but ended up with a million browser windows open until they all crashed and you lost track of which sites you were on and which items you were comparing. Here’s another scenerio: you’re at work and sneak in a little afternoon virtual window shopping, but then a big project comes across your desk (or your boss decides to stop by for some face time.

Now you can save your favorite items in one place online, so you can get back to it when you have time (like when your boss finally leaves you alone!). You can also enter your preferences and StyleFeeder will find stuff for you! It’s like having your own personal shopper but without the cost (StyleFeeder is free). As you rate items, StyleFeeder gets smarter about what you like. You can also see items other people with your style have found!

2. Lisa Kline

What it is: Celebrity Stylist Lisa Kline’s fabulous online store

Why we love it: If anyone knows how to dress, it’s Lisa Kline, who has dressed many TV personalities on shows like Will and Grace, Friends, Extreme Makeover, and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and has worked with numerous networks including MTV, Style Channel, and E! LisaKline.com is the stylist’s online shopping spin-off of her stores (Lisa Kline and Lisa Kline Men’s) located in LA, Beverly Hills and Malibu. She supports up and coming designers, as well as celeb faves like Ella Moss, Rebecca Taylor and treesje, plus her own private label.

3.  V-neck t-bags dress

What itTbags_019_v_neck_dress_med is: Soft printed jersey dress with deep v neck by t-bags.
Why we love it: I love this silhouette! It’s flattering to any body shape. It’s not too short or too long, the 3/4 length sleeves are a perfect compromise for fall and the colors and pattern fit into any seasonal color palette. It’s truly a unique find. t-bags offers a fabulous line of feminine, yet bold, dresses for the modern woman (with a softer side).

4. Fashion designer Kim Phan:

Who she is: The brainchild behind the vintage-inpsired line YUMI KIM.
Yumi_kim
Why we love it: I love her vintage-inpsired feminine dresses and blouses. I really like the duality of her collection: the Asian-inpsired Kimono tops and dresses are delicate and ooze femininity without being girly and her sweaters and jumpers carry through the vintage charm without looking frumpy or overly trendy. Shop YUMI KIM at LuvCharlie.com.
