How to fold a pocket square by Belisi
If you haven’t heard, men's pocket squares are all the rage. Think Fred Astaire meets the 21st century (without the top hat). Sounds cool, right? Now’s the hard part: how in the world do you fold a pocket square? You probably didn’t get any pointers from your dad because pocket squares were on hiatus during his heyday—and he just had his dad fold them for special occasions.
Well now you don’t need a special occasion to sport a silk pocket square. And while it may seem like putting together an Origami paper dragon, it actually only takes four simple folds and you’re ready to melt some hearts in true gentleman fashion.
Here are some pocket square folding instructions to get you started:
Fashion trendsetter (most popular for his appearances on America’s Next Top Model and E! Network’s Fashion Wrap) Jay Manuel shows us how to pull off the sophisticated casual look of a pair of premium denim paired with a nice button down, blazer, topped off with a silk scarf and pocket square.
Pocket squares can add an interest point to a traditional suit or really add some flair to a flat ensemble. If your closet is chalk full of cutting-edge fashion trends, a pocket square can complete the polished look. Not sure how to wear a pocket square? It's really up to you ... you can wear pocket squares with a tie or without a tie, or with a silk scarf.
One rule of them is that you don't want to mismatch your patterns. So if you have a paisely pocket square, you don't want a strong pattern on your tie, scarf or shirt. If you have a patterned shirt, a solid color like a green pocket square, sends the right message.

Please look around for the DARKEST emerald green silk or silk-like material and fashion mens' scarves from it. I have a passion for this color and cannot find it outside of Venice, Italy.
